As part of the second stage of events for the West of England Local Skills Improvement Plan, this focus group will give you the opportunity to voice your opinion about skills needs in your sector and region, alongside other businesses, further education representatives and training providers. We want to know from the businesses that are at the heart of the industry how we can help shape post-16 education to better support the Health, Social Care and Life Sciences sectors’ needs and your views will feed into the Local Skills Improvement Plan, a national change in the way business needs are put at the heart of education and training delivery*.
At the end of the session, our engagement team runs through relevant recommendations for support and services that hopefully can help on any issues or needs you raised in the focus group, using our extensive research over the past two years, as well as our partnerships with all Further Education providers and regional bodies across the West of England.
